Camp IPX is a new summer camp that explores the world of digital images and computer technology.

July 14-25, 1997, students in grades 6-9 will have the unique and exciting opportunity to participate in Camp IPX --a two-week, three-hour per day computer day camp focusing upon digital image processing in science and mathematics. Camp IPX is a special national program piloted by the Center for Image Processing in Education (CIPE), sponsored locally by the P.T.A. of Churchill Road School, under the direction of Ms. Joanne Goodwin, Technology Resource Teacher, Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS).

Camp IPX will meet from 9 a.m. to 12 noon daily at the state-of-the-art instructional technology lab at Churchill Road School, featuring Apple Power Macintosh AV computers and high-speed Internet access.
