Students were asked, What did you like best about Camp IPX?"
- "I enjoyed making the animations the most. Making the pictures look 3-D with the 3-D glasses was cool too.
- "I liked how we took our pictures with the digital camera and put it on the computer."
- "I liked how we could make images from the computer seem to stick out when we put on those 3-D glasses.
- "I liked how we learned to animate stuff and make our own movies."
- "I liked being able to put myself anywhere!"
- "I never knew you could do so many different things on a computer."
- "I liked making animations and cartoons. I think that's because I like drawing. It was fun making my drawing move, like a cartoon."
- "I liked the activity called Digital Detective. It was very cool."
- "I liked my new friend and Mrs. Goodwin. I liked to make movies."
Students were asked, "What would you change about Camp IPX?"
- Several campers said, "Nothing!"
- Two campers suggested doing animations with real people.
- "I think it would be good to include an activity where kids design their own amusement parks or cars. When we did the car activity we just customized one."
- "One thing I would like is more choices in the Picture Yourself activity."
- "I think there should be more examples in the Digital Detective activity."
